Blood orange, beet and carrot juice recipe - Juizier

Juice Recipe: Blood orange, beet and carrot

The chicken soup of juices

Not that you are in the mood to be juicing when a virus is attacking your respiratory system, but a bit of extra effort could make a huge difference on how quickly you recover back to health.

Now imagine if along with the chicken soup (which you should definitely have when feeling crummy) you also enjoy this sweet, recharging and nourishing juice.

After your swift recovery, you will be swearing by this juice just as grandmas do for their boiled poultry water.

A potent elixir to fortify your immune system, improve hydration and recover faster from respiratory system infections.

The well balanced mixture of fruits, roots and vegetables produce a radiant, invigorating and nutritive drink which you can feel working immediately.

The intense red color of beet envelopes every other tone and its earthiness also becomes know at the end. Very fluid, thin, almost aqueous but bursting with flavor and color.

Drink right after juicing it without refrigeration.

This juice is incredible

Serving: 48oz. Time: 10 minutes. Yield: exactly 48oz. I am impressed how easy and exact this recipe is. Cut all the ingredients as advised and juice them with my Omega juicer and it worked as expected. The juice was very good and tasty with lots of character. This is my top 5 now.

Ingredients

A balanced mix

Orange

Blood

Sweeter than navel oranges and slightly better yield, this citrus produces an intense ruby color juice that mixes well with other fruits or as a balancer for earthy or green recipes.

Carrot

While carrot-only juice exists, the best use for this root is mixed with fruits, vegetables and leafy greens.

Beetroot

The intensity of this root transforms any juice into a beet juice with the rest of ingredients behind.  With its rich color, strong flavor and high sugar content, beet root juicing can be challenging.

Ginger

Root

In the right amount, this ingredient balances bitterness or sweetness perfectly in any juice recipe.

Turmeric

Root

This rhizome is loaded with healthy benefits and it only needs a small amount to improve the color, flavor and nutrition of any juice recipe.

Preparation

Steps to optimize juice yield

Beetroot

Remove ends. Do not peel. Cut into wedges.

3

Orange

Peel, cut into pieces or squeeze straight into juice.

4

Juice

Start with the beets. Add the carrot and orange. Add ginger and turmeric.
