Watermelon

This extremely high yield ingredient mixes well with fruit juices, however, its large sugar content must be balanced with other low sugar vegetables.

Spinach

This leafy green juices into a fresh, mild dark green fluid that goes well with earthy recipes or tropical juices.

Lime

Slightly more sour than lemons, juicing limes will balance flavors, improve nutrition and help juices stay fresher for longer.

Lettuce

Iceberg

Not a popular juice ingredient, but practical and readily available as a substitute to improve the refreshing qualities of your recipe.

Mint

Spearmint

The fresh, intense and characteristic flavor of this herb can overwhelm easily other ingredients; use with caution.

Preparation

Steps to optimize juice yield

Cucumber

Peel and cut into sticks.

Watermelon

Choose firm, greener fruits. Peel but leave most of the rind. Cut into cubes.

Spinach & lettuce

Wash and dry. Cut lettuce in a way each piece share some of the stem.

Limes & spearmint

Squeeze lime juice at the end. Clean mint from browning leaves and leave the stems.

Juice

Start with all the watermelon and half of the cucumber. Add leafy greens and spearmint. Add the rest of the cucumber and lime unless you are squeezing it at the end.
