Cabbage, red grapes and lime juice recipe - Juizier

Juice Recipe: Cabbage, red grapes and lime

The unusual suspects

One of the most rewarding pleasures in juicing is experimenting with unusual ingredients to see just how they “juice”.

Another win is to mix two ingredients rarely sharing the same plate yet somehow work perfectly together in juice form.

In this juice recipe, combining cabbage and grape, for some reason science still has not explained, surprisingly works great. Could it be the similar colors? The shape, although in different proportions? Who knows. It just works.

Just give thanks someone, experimenting at the fringe of the rational, discovered these two ingredients worked together and now the world is a tiny bit more interesting because of it.

A counterintuitive combination of ingredients result in a sophisticated, elegant and impressive juice with mystical flavors.

The cabbage, despite its waxy texture, juices very well into a silky extract with peppery tones. Not a pleasant taste on its own, but combined with the rest of ingredients, this surprisingly tasty juice will impress at each sip.

Drink fresh.

Ingredients

Let's go crazy

Cabbage

Red

With increased health benefits compared to the green version, this vegetable provides a substantial reddish juice yield which blends perfectly with other Brassicas like broccoli, kale, cauliflower and collards.

Grape

Red

Packing more vitamins and minerals than the green version, adding some of this ingredient to your recipe will increase sweetness dramatically if not used in the right amount.

Orange

Navel

Squeezed, poured or juiced, a solid citrus with a sweet tar flavor, floral tones, smooth texture and intense yellow color juice.

Lime

Slightly more sour than lemons, juicing limes will balance flavors, improve nutrition and help juices stay fresher for longer.

Ginger

Root

In the right amount, this ingredient balances bitterness or sweetness perfectly in any juice recipe.
