Watermelon, raspberry and lime juice recipe - Juizier

Juice Recipe: Watermelon, raspberry and lime

A balmy embrace

Nothing says summer like watermelon. Right there with fireworks, hotdogs and bug spray; sticky skin.

Accessible to everyone, pre-packaged, easy to eat, not so much fun to carry, but the ball shape may help rolling it around.

Now you can make another nostalgic memory of summer and watermelon with this juice. Fresh, jovial and loud. Perfect with meals but meaningful on its own for an August afternoon.

A cordial juice to be enjoyed outside, in the hot days of summer. This deliciously hydrating spritzer is mainly driven by the watermelon taste and color, with the raspberries adding some extra sweetness and interesting after tones along with the lime.

Very refreshing but slightly on the sweet side, which you can rebalance by adding some water to it.

Serve cold or over ice in tall glasses garnished with some mint leaves.

Ingredients

Summer spritzer juice

Watermelon

This extremely high yield ingredient mixes well with fruit juices, however, its large sugar content must be balanced with other low sugar vegetables.

Raspberry

This bramble, when used in the right amount, helps bring forward other flavors in your juice recipe, while improving fiber content.

Lime

Slightly more sour than lemons, juicing limes will balance flavors, improve nutrition and help juices stay fresher for longer.

Preparation

Steps to optimize juice yield

1

Watermelon

Remove skin but leave most of the rind. Cut into cubes.

2

Rapberry

They are ready for juicing.

3

Lime

Cut into wedges or squeeze into juice.

4

Juice

Start with watermelon, slowly as it will clog the juicer. Add raspberries, again, very slowly. Finish with the lime.
